CATS has a total of seven camcorders and tripods for patrons to use to produce a program for CATS. We also have limited audio equipment.

If you would like to produce a program with our equipment, this is what you can get.

Sony Digital-8 camcorders (uses standard HI-8/Digi-8 cassettes)
tripod
635a microphone (unidirectional)
XLR to 1/4" microphone cord
lavalier microphone (clip-on microphone)
RCA to RCA microphone extension cord (for the lavalier)
Y splitter (allows you to use 2 lavalier microphones)
headphones

This is the standard camcorder gear that all patrons use. We no longer have VHS or Super VHS camcorders for public use.
