Edit Suites

In addition to the camcorder package, CATS has several editing suites available for patron use. In order to use the editing room, you must have an approved Program Proposal on file at CATS.

The edit suites have Digital-8 decks, a PowerMac G4 running iMovie 2 and a TV monitor. Drive space (video storage) is limited to an external 20 gigabyte hard drive. These drives are reserved for a period of three weeks, but additional time can made available.

Editing sessions may not exceed 5 hours per day
Only one editing session may be scheduled per day

Use of CATS' facilities entitles CATS to full copyright privileges of that work.
